Who we are
This policy covers floridasepticworks.com, run by Florida Septic Works. Florida Septic Works connects Ocala and Marion County homeowners with independent local septic companies for free, no-obligation quotes. Florida Septic Works is a referral service, not a septic tank contractor; the work is done by independent DEP-registered septic tank contractors, who quote, contract and do the job. See our about page for more.
What the quote form collects
When you use the quote form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service you are interested in, and any details you add about your tank, drains, drain field or property. Only your name and phone number are required.
How the form is delivered
The form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service that delivers each submission to our email inbox. FormSubmit handles the data under its own privacy terms.
Who we share your request with
We share your request with the independent septic companies that quote the job, so they can contact you about it. Those companies are separate businesses with their own privacy practices; once they have your details, how they use them is up to them. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your information.
Phone calls
If you call the number on this site, we may note your name, number, town and what you need so we can pass the request to an independent septic company, which may then call you back. By submitting the form or calling, you agree that we and the companies we share your request with may call or text you at the number you give about that request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Cookies
The quote form does not need cookies to work. Our hosting provider may set cookies or use similar technology needed to keep the site secure. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as needed to handle them and follow up, and for ordinary business records.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, reach us through our contact page. We can remove it from our own records; to remove it from a septic company’s records, contact that company as well.
Children
This site is meant for adult homeowners and property managers and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. See also our terms of use.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, including whether a visitor sent the quote form or tapped the phone number. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives standard technical data such as your browser, device and approximate location; it does not receive what you type into the quote form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
